OBX Modern Carts provides street-legal golf cart and low-speed vehicle rental services in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Our services may include online booking, rental coordination, delivery, pickup, payment processing, rental agreements, safety information, and customer support.

All rentals are subject to availability, applicable North Carolina law, local ordinances, posted road restrictions, our rental policies, and the separate rental agreement, waiver, addendum, safety rules, or checkout instructions provided as part of the booking process.

3. Website Use and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our website. However, booking, renting, or operating one of our vehicles is subject to the eligibility requirements in the rental agreement.

Unless otherwise stated in the signed rental agreement, renters and authorized drivers must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, meet applicable insurance requirements, and be approved as authorized drivers.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using our website, submitting forms, making a reservation, or communicating with us.

4. Bookings, Payments, and Cancellations

Your actual golf cart or low-speed vehicle rental is governed by a separate rental agreement, waiver, addendum, safety rules, and/or checkout instructions provided before or during the booking process.

Those rental documents may include detailed terms regarding driver eligibility, authorized drivers, insurance, security deposits, damage, loss, theft, charging, delivery, pickup, late return, prohibited uses, road restrictions, accidents, citations, fees, and renter responsibility.

If there is a conflict between these website Terms and the signed rental agreement or rental-specific addendum, the signed rental agreement or rental-specific addendum will control for the rental-specific issue, unless prohibited by applicable law.

You agree to comply with all applicable North Carolina laws, local ordinances, posted signs, traffic rules, parking rules, and safety requirements when renting or operating any vehicle from OBX Modern Carts.
